Joe's Market Garden

Joe's Market Garden is a 2.5 acre Market Garden that sits on the banks of the Merri Creek in Coburg it is the last of 7 remaining Chinese Market Garden which were established on the Merri Creek banks in the late 1800's. Joe's Market Garden is the last remaining of these old urban farm.

Today, the site is operated by me as part of the CERES enterprise Fairfood where we grow a range of veg that is sold to the community through our farm gate, local restaurants and the many food enterprises at CERES Brunswick. We also have community volunteers that get good organic grub in exchange for their support and hard work.
